ABC on Safari is an award winner of the 2025 Penmanship Award.
It was born from a desire to reclaim how Kenyan children learn the alphabet. For too long, A was for apple and S for snow—items that felt distant from the world that Kenya children know and understand. I wanted to make learning feel familiar, joyful, and rooted in home.
